Daily Drip

Eating: Red coconut curry with pork gyoza, rice noodles, cabbage, and red bell pepper. I love working from home because I always cook a huge lunch. I make some variation of coconut curry every other day and never tire of it. It feels so filling and nourishing. Finding these fresh gyoza at my favorite neighborhood spot, Sue’s Produce Market, was a real come-up.

Drinking: An iced americano, 1/2 decaf with cream. Creature of habit.

Reading: The Bleu’s “Off Duty With Stylist Summer Dawn.” I’ve been following beauty influencer Summer Dawn Miller for a while. She has impeccable taste.

Feeling: Like a million bucks. For the last three years, my eating habits have been up and down. From never eating enough, to a brief stint with veganism, to ignoring my gluten sensitivity, I have consciously kept myself from feeling good. I recently decided that needs to end. I’ve been eating way more, consuming meat ~once per day, and avoiding gluten, and I feel spectacular. Your diet can be the greatest practice of self-love when you listen to your body.

Thinking: I really need to read a book. I’ve barely read in the last two months which is very unlike me, and I can feel it trickling into other areas of my life.

Wanting: A vacation! After several financial blows this year, I decided to take a break from traveling. All I really did in 2019 was a quick trip to New Orleans and a weekend in OCMD. Wild. When I was 24 or so, I decided to aim for one new country + other smaller trips each year. But life happens! I hope to make 2020 a great year of travel and experiences.
