Listening: “Get You” by Daniel Caesar ft. Kali Uchis. I’m working on a Valentine’s Day piece right now, so I figured a good place to start is one of my all-time favorite albums.
Feeling: Anxious. I just got back from LA Monday night. I’ve been on the move since my best friend’s passing at the end of January, and I’m scared to slow down and really process things, despite knowing that it’s inevitable and necessary. I had more written here, but I just don’t think any daily blog post about what I’m into at the moment (inherently a little shallow) is the space to discuss something so tragic.
Currently Loving: Alo yoga. Never did I anticipate the spandex-fueled religious experience I had upon browsing this store. I’ve always been the girl who exercises in cheap t-shirts, torn sports bras, and shorts with elastic so worn they fall off on the treadmill. But something about this buttery fabric and clean aesthetic lit a fire under my ass to rebrand my workout look as Real Housewife of Rittenhouse Square.
Inspired By: The Melrose Flea Market. Just keeping the whole LA fashion recap thing alive here: from the vendors to the shoppers, I was truly moved by the displays of style and attention to detail at this grungy outdoor wonderland.
