Hey, friends. It’s been a minute, huh? Today’s chosen image should give sufficient insight on my absence. Nonetheless, I’m stoked to get back to sharing snippets of my life with you.
Eating: A big bowl of this “everything but the kitchen sink” vegetable soup I’ve been throwing together the past couple days. Since taking a quick trip to upstate New York where I indulged in every baked good under the sun, I’m trying to get back in the swing of a colorful, nutrient-dense lifestyle.
Working On: A bit of a rebrand/restructuring! I’ll share more details soon.
Feeling: Excited. There are a bunch of fun upcoming changes in my life: The mystery project I mentioned above. Andrew and I locking down an apartment in a new neighborhood. Writing galore. And… *cue ominous music* my 29th birthday on the 8th. I used to dread turning 30, but the closer I get, the more peace I feel toward gaining years of wisdom—and by wisdom I mean the understanding that no matter how much I learn, I still don’t know shit and it is within surrendering to this elemental uncertainty that I find peace.
Loving: Online Ceramics. Described by Naomi Fry of The New Yorker as “hippie streetwear,” their nostalgic, limited supply t-shirts have attracted celebrity fans and collaborations, like John Mayer/Dead & Company and A24 (the entertainment company behind Uncut Gems, Lady Bird, etc.). I just purchased my first piece from this special brand this week. If you need a break from the sans-serif, millennial pink brand sites that currently dominate your browser, I implore you to peep their site. I can’t even link the t-shirt I bought here, if that gives you an idea of the sophistication.
